Bucket List/Redwood forests of California

Things I must do or see before I kick the bucket. Yikes, let me explain.  I hope I have many, many, many years to get everything on my list accomplished!! I think everyone should have a bucket list.  For me I decided why not start one while I am young and make my way through life marking them off my list, then later in life I can look back and say - now that was a life lived to the fullest. :)  So I shall blog from time to time about things I realize I must put on my list! No I don't think of this as morbid, but just the opposite, I look at this as dreaming, planning, and living.  So what is on your bucket list fellow blog readers?

Tonight I watched a show about the Redwood forests of California.  I must see these amazing trees in person. Just read this description......

Nearly half of the remaining old growth redwoods are in this park system, including giants five stories taller than the Statue of Liberty. They can live to be 2000 years old and grow to over 360 feet tall. Spruce, hemlock, Douglas-fir, berry bushes, and sword ferns create a multiple canopied understory that towers over all visitors. The parks' mosaic of habitats include prairie/oak woodlands, mighty rivers and streams, and 37 miles of pristine Pacific coastline.

Redwoods you are now on my list!
