A Max and Mia Weekend!

Max and Mia came for a visit this weekend!!

Saturday Max, Mia, and I went down to Crown Center to check out some of the fun activities.

First stop was the Hallmark Visitor Center.  I would like to go back through sometime, as we walked through at a rather brisk pace! lol  The kids liked the Christmas trees/ornaments and pushing the red button on the machine to make a gift bow.  In the picture below you can see the tiny blue bow on Max's head.

Second stop was Kaleidoscope.  Max and Mia were able to be creative and have a lot of fun too!! They made all sorts of wonderful creations, from puzzles to paintings.  Great time - we love that place!!

We then headed through Crown Center to go to Fiesta Kansas City, which was going on outside.  The kids each took a turn riding a kid friendly mechanical bull, and loved it! We walked around and took in the sights and sounds of the fiesta then headed back inside. A super important stop was made to the candy store, where Max declared "this is paradise!" We headed back up two sets of escalators (which are new and exciting when you are 6 and 8) and made our journey back to the parking garage.  With the two kiddos strapped in the backseat and each with mouthful of candy we made our way back to Aunt DeeDee and Uncle J's house.

Free balloons are always great!

There was one happening party going on at our house last night, Nicholas and Alexander from next door came over.  There was junk food, candy, Wii, and Netflix - enough said!.  The kids had a blast and when it got dark we headed back over to Nick and Alex's house to enjoy a campfire on a chilly night.  We roasted marshmallows and the kids played till way past their bed time!

The wolf pack!!

Mia Rose was the photographer of the last two pictures - good job!

Snuggle time while watching TV

Cuties even with chocolate around their mouth!

Great time!!
