I'm not sure if he has been in a car much, he seemed very nervous on the trip home. I sat in the backseat with him and kept him wrapped up in a blanket as he shivered. Poor guy. Amos also has a serious case of separation anxiety, he cries whenever anyone leaves. It's going to take time for him to learn to trust us.
Gracie and Amos are getting along great!! I think he wonders why she keeps bumping into him, but he has been so sweet with her. Grace (our blind tour guide) was really excited to show Amos around the backyard yesterday. Gracie is so funny, she already seems bossy around him and he just goes with it!
Amos is not sure what to make of the cats, he is both scared and intrigued by them at the same time. I think in time they will all be one big happy family!
Amos did have two potty accidents and one huge barf yesterday. The first two accidents were easy clean up, the barf, however, was massive. Too many treats, strong meds, and all the excitement I think caused such a tummy upset. I made him a very light supper and breakfast and he's doing fine now.
So far so good! Amos is doing great and we are so excited to have him in our family. Here are a few pics to enjoy, he is a hard guy to keep still and not a fan of the camera. lol!
