Lost and Found

When Mom and Dad where headed back to Columbia on Tuesday, they spotted a dog laying in the front yard.  By the time I made it outside, she had taken off down the street (towards N. Oak)  We caught up to her and brought her back to the house.  She was hot, tired, and limping a little. She did not have on a collar.  After a long nap and some food and water, she seemed to be feeling much better.  With no where else to go, she of course stayed the night at our house.

Wed morning I got busy making flyer's and ready to post an ad on Craigslist.  I had looked for lost dogs under the Pet section and did not find her.  Then I realized there is an actual Lost and Found section, and I found her!! I contacted her owner, who was thrilled to hear that she was OK.  Her name is Suzie.  Jeff and I met her owners at 8 pm after they got off work.  They live in a apartment complex about a mile away.  Her owner said she saw a squirrel on a walk and got out of her collar and took off.  Suzie is such a sweet girl, and we enjoyed having her for short while.  We are so happy to have her reunited with her family.  Amos was a little sad to see her go, he thought she was a pretty fun playmate.

Suzie is a Brittany Spaniel Mix - so cute!
