Manic Monday

I had my upper GI Scope done Monday. The doctor found inflammation of the stomach, and took a biopsy of my stomach and small intestine.  I was given Propofol, and was out in a matter of seconds.  So now I will wait for Biopsy results and was given a new Med for the stomach inflammation.  The Doctor told me afterwards that  he was most concerned about, was my sleep apnea. (I was told over the summer I had mild sleep apnea, and to be to sure to sleep on my side).  He said I was gasping for air and apparently was freaking the medical staff out.  He is faxing over a report to my primary Doctor.  I had the worst time doing that sleep study, I CANNOT sleep while hooked up to wires and machines.  Crap!

I am so tired right now, but sleep has still not come in these wee hours of the morning.  My throat is really sore and scratchy from the scope and my stomach is still hurting.  I am turning off the computer and the bad attitude and heading back to bed.  Good night morning.
