A Healthy Hound

I took Amos to the Vet today for his yearly vaccines and to have a heart worm test.  As you might remember Amos was heart worm positive when we adopted him in September.  He went through a very aggressive treatment process, and has had his monthly heart worm pill ever since. 

Amos is no longer that sick, underweight pup we brought home last fall.  He is now Heart worm FREE!! Big boy now weighs in at a perfectly plump 58 pounds.

He does not like being there and has no problem letting Dr Larry know how upset he is.  Dr  Larry is a great Vet for Amos, he is patient, and puts up with the guy.  Amos cries while getting shots, and if he knows he's having blood drawn...forget about it!! He cries from the time he sees the needle to a good 2-3 mins of sobbing after the whole darn thing is over!! OH the drama he gives to his Momma!
