Blizzard.........

I have decided the only kind of blizzard I like is the one that comes with a red spoon!!!

Shoveling is hard work!! My back reminds me of this as I lay on the couch with an ice pack.  Jeff and I shoveled the lower part of the driveway and cleaned off the cars.  We still manged to get both cars stuck in our own driveway! After some more shoveling and the use of a sand bag we were able to get the cars out and Jeff should be good to go in the morning.
Our pets are sure not happy with the weather.  Our cats have developed their own "kitty cabin fever"!
They sleep most of the day, while periodically waking to gorge themselves on cat food.  Night is when the cabin fever kicks in.  They chase each other around the house and fight, fight, fight!! These fights are epic, it's like watching WWE SmackDown live in our own house!! Oh my poor boys need some warm sunny days to go outside and run off the crazy!!
Lilly is on strike from the snow!! I have to beg and plead with her to go outside to the bathroom!  She has never given me so much sass about going out in the snow.  She even has a shoveled pathway - which she refuses to use!! That's my Lilly Bean!! Stubborn and bullheaded even during a blizzard!
Grace, my sweet little girl has been easy peasy.  She has been using the shoveled  paths a little, but still ventures out and creates her own paths.  That is Gracie so independent, always taking her own path in the snow and in life!! We have been calling her Dozer, because she just gets out there in the snow and bulldozers her way through!!
We have the sweetest neighbors ever, they brought us over homemade cookies! The cookies were just out of the oven and still warm. :) Chocolate chip and butterscotch - yum.
There is something about bad weather and being stuck in the house that has me cheating on my diet. Not good, tomorrow I am back on track.  This girl is just going to have to forget about that delicious Blizzard with the red spoon!!!
