ER Visit

I drove myself to St. Luke's ER Monday morning.  I have been having some chest pain for about a month now and over the weekend it got increasingly worse.  EKG and chest x-ray came back normal.  Doctor said I have something called Costochondritis (Tietze syndrome) which is a inflammation of the tissue in the chest that connects the ribs to the sternum.  Doc said it can take up to six weeks for it to heal completely.  I got a strong pain shot and a prescription and was sent on my way.  Actually Jeff had to drive me home, I was not allowed to drive myself.  I have to go and check in with my Primary Doctor in a few days and let her know what is going on.  I also have a few other doctor appointments set up for next week.  Yep, so I started off the week with a crazy weird bang!
