A Weston Gal's Birthday!

Jeff and I headed up to Weston today to celebrate Nancy's birthday!

We took the Birthday Girl out to lunch at the Galleria Tea Room.  Really yummy food, I had half a grilled cheese and a cup of cream of chard soup.  We each got a piece of pie for dessert.  Jeff and I ate ours right away! Nancy took hers home to have for later :)  The Galleria used to be the Public Library when Jeff was a little guy and way before that it was a pharmacy/soda fountain - lots of history in these old buildings. 
The website for the tea room also says that it is haunted - eek!! The Tea Room is having  a ghost tales of Weston dinner theater night that sounds pretty fun, with local wines and beers.

I of course had to make a quick stop by my favorite candle shop and pick up some fresh summer scents!  We also got to see Floyd, the resident black lab - such a sweetie! 
Me + 5&B  candles = Happy girl and a good smellin' house!














We also took a look around  town at the flood waters.  I like this picture and statement that was posted on the Weston website.  Strong little town!
